Oh sick days. Seems kinda fitting for today, as it's so gloomy out, that I'm sick.
I was thinking back to sick days in school. It was actually pretty exciting, no matter how sick you really were.
I can remember back ... watching cartoons all day.. The Price is Right.. Soap Operas with Mom - yep.. it's true. Also.. just needing Mom's love. Her making lunch for you.. whether it just be toast with peanut butter.. it still was the best. OH.. and 7-UP. Gotta have the 7-UP, but don't forget the straw!
So today sans Mom, 7-UP, and peanut butter I've been putzing around the apartment. I downloaded the new Indigo Girls album on iTunes. It's fantastic. I have it playing right now. Ah.. those harmonies. They get me everytime. Sublime.
if you lived closer I'd be able to bring you the 7-up and the straw and chicken soup ! ; )
