Ceramic Concern

When did ceramic mugs become travel mugs?

For some reason, I tend to judge these people quite harshly.

Are you really that desperate for your coffee, that you put yourself in the way of the danger a ceramic mug can bring to your oh so sensitive skin while getting on the bus or walking down the street just because your regular tumbler is M.I.A. or dirty?

As if you're SO stable and limber that you can just bring your little rainbow brite mug on the bus sans lid without thought of what that HOT HOT liquid could do to the other innocent bus riders??

Or is this just some new fashion trend that I haven't caught on to yet.

Whatever the case.. if you must carry this mug around.. put a cozy on it for crying out loud!
